Easy Steps
01Heat tortillas and set them aside.
02Add chilli powder, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
03In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of avocado oil.
04Place the chicken in the pan with half of the seasoning mix and 1 tablespoon of salsa.
- 8 corn tortillas
- 2 tbsp avocado oil
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 medium chicken breasts sliced into strips
- 2 tbsp salsa
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- ½ onion (sliced)
- 2 bell peppers (sliced)
Cook for about 10 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked. Set it aside.
06Add the remaining oil, garlic, and sliced onion to the pan, cooking for 2-3 minutes.
07Add in the sliced bell peppers, the rest of the seasoning mix, and the remaining salsa.
08Continue cooking until the vegetables are soft.
09Add the chicken back in and stir until it's heated through.
10Remove from heat and fill each tortilla with the chicken fajita mixture.
11Top each chicken fajita taco with cilantro, and a squeeze of fresh lime juice!
