Greek yoghurt is a perfect snack and substitute for sour cream, mayonnaise. Tzatziki sauce is the perfect addition to multiple appetizers, main course dishes and you can also pair it with soft pita slices or baked pita chips.

Easy Steps

Grate the cucumber and drain the water completely.

Combine the hung curd, garlic, oil, vinegar, and salt. Refrigerate overnight.

Transfer the grated cucumber and fresh dill to the curd mixture and stir to combine.

Serve chilled with pita bread for dipping.

  • Unpeeled cucumber: 1
  • Hung curd: 1 cup
  • Finely minced large garlic cloves: 2
  • Extra virgin olive oil: 2 tbsp
  • White vinegar or lime juice: 1 tbsp
  • Salt: 1/2 tsp
  • Minced dill or thyme: 1/2 tbsp
