Easy Steps

Peel 2 medium oranges, remove seeds, and chop the segments into small pieces. Keep some zest aside (½ tsp) for extra flavour.

In a pan, add the chopped oranges, 1 tablespoon of grated jaggery, ½ teaspoon of grated ginger, 1 finely chopped green chilli, and a pinch of salt.

Cook on medium heat for 6–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens and becomes glossy.

Finish with ½ tsp orange zest and a squeeze of lemon juice. Let it cool before serving.
