Stocking your kitchen with healthy food staples is one of the simplest and most effective ways to stick to healthy eating. If you have easy access to fruit juices rather than soft drinks, you’re more likely to make the right choices. Fighting Stomach Ache

Discomfort caused by an unexpected stomach ache can be treated with a number of healthy foods which can be easily found in your pantry. Most probably, your pantry already has herbs and spices, like ajwain, saunf, mint, and ginger powder. These herbs can effectively relieve your stomach ache in a few minutes. All you need to do is either chew a spoonful of ajwain seeds properly to release its juices, or you can boil a spoon of ajwain seeds in a glass of water, strain it, and drink the ajwain water when you have a stomach ache.

Ginger To Combat Headache

Occasionally stressing about certain life events, working at odd hours, exposing your eyes to excessive screen time can all give you a headache. Ginger is an elixir for headaches as it reduces the inflammation of blood vessels in the brain, hence easing out the pain. Also, try ginger-lemon drink which is quick and easy to make, and can effectively dim your headache. To make the ginger-lemon drink, you have to first boil some water and a slice of ginger. Wait for the ginger to release its juices, and then strain it. Wait for the ginger water to cool down a little and a slice of lemon to it, or simply squeeze lemon water into it. Drink it sip by sip, relax your mind, and you might experience a relief from the headache.

Tulsi To Fight Fever

Though sudden rise in body temperature warrants proper medication and treatment from a doctor, certain home remedies can also prove to be an effective treatment. Our kitchen mostly consists of ingredients like tulsi, turmeric, sandalwood, and mint. You can start by boiling 10-15 tulsi leaves in one liter water along with one teaspoon of clove powder until it comes half. Then just filter it, let it cool, and drink the tulsi water. Home remedies with these herbs can help to overcome fear. Drinking plenty of fluids such as fresh herbal tea, and eating home-cooked meals with good rest can all help cure fever.

 

Mint To Fight Bloating

Being more prone to bloating than men, women usually experience it during menstruation. Even though it is a natural phenomenon, the feeling is still unpleasant. Thankfully, there are a few home remedies which you can prepare with foods available on your shelf to fight bloating. These include broccoli, avocados, blueberries, oatmeal, lentils, unpasteurized yogurt, bananas, onion, dark chocolate, eggplant, tomatoes, cucumber, watermelon, chia seeds, and peppermint tea. What you have to do is boil around 15 fresh mint leaves in some water and keep them infused for about 10 minutes. Strain the leaves and add a spoon of honey and some lemon juice to enjoy.

Severe cramps are a common condition during periods. While some women rely heavily on certain medications and tablets to relieve the pain, others hesitate to consume them. There are a bunch of healthy foods which can ease period pain. These include almonds, peanut butter, spinach, yogurt, ajwain, teas made of peppermint, ginger, fennel or camomile. A 2012 paper published in BMC Complementary And Alternative Medicine also proves that consuming ginger for 5 days before the onset of the menstrual cycle results in significantly less period pain.

 

Healthy Foods To Fight Pimples

Applying aloe vera gel, apple cider vinegar, and tea tree oil for spot treatment can be effective over time for a glowy and a less acne prone skin. Moreover, juices like pineapple and muskmelon include a bountiful amount of vitamins that helps reduce your likelihood of getting pimples. A 2021 study published in the Saudi Journal Of Biological Sciences shows that bromelain, a mixture obtained from pineapple, is effective for inflammation. Another wondrous ingredient is fuller’s earth (multani mitti). All you have to do is add a spoon for 1½ spoon of multani mitti to a bowl, and add water drop by drop to achieve a thick consistency. After you have achieved the consistency that you desire, apply the mask to your face and let it sit for a while until it becomes tight. Then wash your face for a healthy glow!

Tulsi To Fight Sore Throat

One of the most effective treatments include drinking hot liquids like soup, like a healthy veggie soup or a tomato soup, with less spices. Furthermore, you can also try a drink made by boiling tulsi leaves in water, or tulsi tea, to effectively heal a sore throat. It is a quick, easy, and very effective way to ease yourself from the annoying pain in your throat.
