- Fresh lemon juice
- Water (as needed for consistency)

This beetroot carrot juice is beneficial for individuals with hypertension due to its rich nutritional content. Both beetroot and carrots are excellent sources of dietary nitrates, which have been shown to help lower blood pressure by dilating blood vessels and improving blood flow.
The presence of nitrates in these vegetables can promote vasodilation, thereby reducing the resistance in the blood vessels and potentially lowering blood pressure levels. Additionally, beetroot contains antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds that can support cardiovascular health. Carrots, on the other hand, are packed with vitamins, minerals, and fibre, which contribute to overall heart health. Adding ginger adds a touch of spiciness while potentially providing further benefits for circulation.
