When I feel like eating light, I have a Caprese salad. The best part of this dish is that it can be consumed as a side-dish or a full meal and it is filled with healthy ingredients, which have many benefits.

If you are looking to boost your immunity the natural way, then basil can do the trick. Basil extract has shown to help in inhibiting bacteria that don’t respond to antibiotics. In addition, according to studies, adaptogenic herbs such as basil can help manage stress levels.

Extra virgin olive oil is one of the key ingredients in this dish, which protects against heart disease, lower inflammation, protects “bad” LDL cholesterol and improves the lining of your blood vessels.
