Easy Steps
01Preheat the oven to 350°F or 180°C. In a blender, sift flour and baking soda. Add cocoa flakes and blend.
02Add oil or butter, egg, and vanilla essence into the mixture and blend again.
03While blending, add the jaggery and buttermilk and blend until the batter is lump-free. Add the salt to the batter and blend again.
04Grease a baking tray with oil and sprinkle some flour. Add the salt into the batter.
- Dark chocolate cocoa flakes: ⅓ cup
- Jaggery: 200g
- Flour: 100g
- Baking soda: 1 tsp
- Oil or butter: ½ cup
- Vanilla essence: 1 tsp
- Whole egg: 1
- Thick buttermilk: ¾ cup
Now pour the batter into the baking tray. Place the tray in the oven and bake for 40 minutes.
06Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool. The cake is now ready!
