Easy Steps
01Sift the cocoa into a bowl.
02Pour in the filter coffee along with the coconut milk, water, maple syrup, salt and vanilla. Stir together.
03Add the chia seeds to the cocoa mixture and mix till well-combined.
04Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Chia seeds: ½ cup
- Coconut milk: 1 ½ cups
- Water: ½ cup
- Maple syrup or jaggery syrup: ½ cup
- Strong filter coffee decoction: 2 ½ tablespoons
- Vanilla extract: 1 tablespoon
- Cocoa powder: ¼ cup
- Salt: 1 pinch
In a high-speed blender, combine the cocoa mixture with the well-soaked chia seeds till smooth.
06Pour the resultant chocolate mousse into glasses and refrigerate for at least 3 hours till it is well set.
07Garnish with some grated vegan dark chocolate and enjoy!
