For the Apple Topping
011 medium apple, diced
021 teaspoon cinnamon
For the Crumble
011/2 cup oats
021/4 cup walnuts, chopped
032 tablespoons butter
042 tablespoons brown sugar
05Pinch of salt
- 2 cups Greek yoghurt
- 2 tablespoons honey syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Easy Steps
01In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yoghurt, honey syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir until well blended.
02Take a separate bowl to toss the diced apple with the cinnamon until the apple pieces are evenly coated.
03To make the crumble, melt the butter over low heat in a small saucepan. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the oats, chopped walnuts, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt until the mixture is well combined and crumbly.
04Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour the yoghurt mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly to about 1/4 inch thick.
05Evenly distribute the cinnamon-coated apple topping over the yoghurt layer.
06Sprinkle the crumble mixture on top of the apples, pressing it gently into the yoghurt.
07Place the baking sheet in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until the yoghurt is fully set and firm.
08Once frozen, remove the yoghurt bark from the baking sheet and break it into pieces. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer.
