ABC Juice: Your Secret to Wellness
Have no time to make sure you’re getting your nutrients? Try this ABC juice that’s great for kids and adults alike to get their daily dose of iron and other nutrients.
According to a 2024 study from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), over 58 per cent of children aged 6 to 59 months suffer from iron deficiency. The most vulnerable groups are young children and pregnant women due to inadequate dietary intake, poor absorption, frequent infections, and increased nutrient requirements during growth and pregnancy.
Iron deficiency can be a silent yet impactful condition that affects children's physical and mental well-being. If you are looking for juices to increase iron levels, then you are at the right place.

Easy Steps
01Peel and chop the apple, beetroot, and carrot into smaller pieces to make blending easier.
02If using fresh amla, remove the seeds and chop it into smaller pieces. If using amla powder, set it aside for later.
03Place the chopped apple, amla, beetroot, and carrot in a blender or juicer.
04Add water to help with the blending process. Start with 1/2 cup and add more if needed.
05Blend everything until smooth. If you prefer a thinner juice, you can strain it using a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth.
06Taste the juice. If you like it sweeter, add honey or jaggery to taste. You can also add a pinch of black salt for extra flavour.
07Pour the juice into glasses, add ice cubes if desired, and give it a good stir.
08Garnish with a slice of apple or a few mint leaves for extra freshness.
