Mint Coriander Juice

This juice has great detoxifying properties. When consumed on an empty stomach in the morning, mint coriander juice helps remove toxins from the body. Mint leaves have been known for its refreshing properties. As for coriander leaves, we all know of it being used as a garnish, but it is so much more. Together these have great benefits for the body.
The soothing properties of mint leaves help in relieving the inflammation of cells that causes a headache. Not only that, but it also protects us from other concerns like migraines and flu symptoms. Mint leaves are filled with flavour. When chewed on, they promote the release of saliva and enzymes that help to break food down. Further down the digestive tract, this really helps in solving the problem of indigestion.
Coriander extracts have shown excellent results in healing mouth ulcers and preventing them. If you are constantly attacked with these ulcers, chew on some coriander leaves. These leaves are filled with an abundant source of vitamin C and K, β-carotene. They contain antioxidants, as well, that fight free radicals in the body.
Finally, mint leaves possess antifungal, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that prove beneficial for the skin. These properties help reduce acne, help with redness and soothe the skin. This makes this juice a great beauty drink too.

Easy Steps
01Wash the coriander and mint leaves and pat dry.
02Blanch the coriander leaves in warm water for about 10 to 15 minutes to remove any hidden and unwanted particles.
03In a food processor, place the mint and coriander leaves and lemon juice.
04Blend the ingredients together into a juice.
- Mint: 1 cup
- Coriander: 1 cup
- Lemon juice: 2 – 3 drops
Sieve the juice, pour into tall glasses and serve.
