Ingredients List
  • 1 cup porridge oats
  • 2/3 cup semi-skimmed milk
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 banana
  • 3/4 cup yoghurt
  • 2 tsp seed mix
  • 1 tsp dried fruit
  • 1 tsp cacao nibs

Easy Steps

01

In a medium saucepan, combine the porridge oats, semi-skimmed milk, and ground cinnamon.

02

Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the mixture begins to simmer.

03

Lower the heat and cook for 5–7 minutes, or until the oats are soft and the mixture has thickened to your desired consistency.

04

While the oats are cooking, peel the banana and mash it in a small bowl using a fork until smooth. Set aside.

05

Once the oats are cooked, remove them from the heat and divide the mixture into two serving bowls.

06

Top each bowl of oats with a spoonful of yoghurt, half of the mashed banana, and a sprinkle of seed mix, dried fruit, and cacao nibs.

07

Serve immediately while warm. Optional: drizzle with a little honey or maple syrup for extra sweetness if desired.
